What’s for supper?

It was a busy weekend, I’m a little late getting our weekly menu out. I’ve had it figured out since mid week. Found some tilapia in the freezer, so that’s getting used up this week!

Monday: Garlic Butter tilapia, this has been a fan favorite since the first time I’ve made it. Here’s the full recipe here Tilapia

Tuesday: Taco hashbrown, my mouth is already drooling just thinking about it! This meal is super easy, and it’s one you mix it all up and forget about it. It takes 2 hours and it’s ready. Here’s the recipe Taco hashbrowns

Wednesday: On the go supper! We make sandwiches and other things to eat to the ball fields!

Thursday: baked ziti! This is an easy meal, and it hits every time we make it. Here is the recipe Baked Ziti

Friday: Maidrites, they are messy but that’s the point! Something I can throw together before leaving home and it will be ready to eat before we head to practice.

Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to the crock pot.
  2. Stir together to combine ingredients and break up the ground beef.
  3. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  4. Stir occasionally to combine ingredients as they cook and to keep the beef from clumping together.
  5. Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings. It’s messy, but it’s supposed to be.
