Not a Girl Mom.

I wasn’t made to be a girl mom, and I mean that in the nicest way possible. I have said that from day one. I have never been into arts and crafts, always joked with everyone that if I ever had a daughter the most elaborate hair style she will get by me is a pony tail, pig tails, or a simple braid. I am just into it. Give me all the dirt, bugs, trucks, sports, and anything else a boy would be into and I can handle that.

For the most part Rylee girl is like me when I was younger, more of a tom-boy at life than a girly girl. Don’t get me wrong she still enjoys her fair share of girly girl things. Like for example the above picture of the bracelet making kit. When I was asked for Christmas ideas for the kiddos I gave this bracelet kit idea to my grandma. Well she received it on Saturday, and wanted to get it out and make a bracelet on Sunday. (Which I have decided are my off days when it comes to posting, unless there is something REALLY worth posting about) Anyways, I told Rylee it was fine if she got it out and made one. Well she needed help and once we really got to looking at it…I was left making 90% of the bracelet….yup…she is lucky I love her because if it was just me it would have gotten thrown away in the first minute of me messing with it!

It isn’t the prettiest and it’s definitely not the best, but she loves it and that’s all that matters! Next time I get stuck doing one, I have a few things I will change around what work best halfway through and towards the end of making this one. All I can say is, I am glad that was over! Took way too long for this mama to get the hang of! Looking at it now though I think it looks pretty good!
