It has been a minute since posting, but after my last post I kind of needed a little break from everything social media has in store. The holiday seasons are here (which I needed this so much), and we just recently celebrated Thanksgiving. We went to my mom’s house and had a delicious lunch and hung out. It has been so long since we have been able to do that, and it was definitely a much needed thing. We have more cousins to play with and love on, and we got to do just that. It was so much fun watching them all play. I don’t know about you, but I have been itching to get my Christmas decorations up and definitely my tree. I ended up not having to work on Friday, so the kids and I put them all up. There is just something about a Christmas tree and the glistening lights that make you feel so warm a cozy. If it was up to me I probably would have had it up before Thanksgiving, but my husband already thinks I am crazy for having it up before December. I think every year I get more and more excited to gift things for others and to live through their eyes when it comes to the holiday season. Our youngest was just over a year last year, so he wasn’t really into it as much. This year I have a feeling will be a little more entertaining. I don’t know if it’s because of the past year that we have had, my age, the kids, or me just finally coming to the realization that I have a lot to be thankful for. This year just hits differently, and it has me all over the place when it comes to my emotions and being thankful for this life that we have. I am truly blessed even on those days that it doesn’t quite come off that obvious. I hope you enjoy the holidays this year and you count your blessings, even the small ones.
